GNM Life Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) values your personal information and complies with the “Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection” of the Republic of Korea.
Through this Privacy Policy, the Company informs you of the purposes and methods of using the personal information you provide, as well as the measures taken to protect your personal data.
If the Company revises this Privacy Policy, such changes will be notified through website announcements (or individual notifications).
1. Personal Information Collected
The Company collects the following personal information to provide its services:
Items collected: Name, Country, Company/Position, Contact Information, Email, etc.
2. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information
The Company uses collected personal information for the following purposes:
Membership management: Identification for membership services, age verification, verification of legal guardian consent for users under 14, delivery of notices
Marketing and advertising purposes
Analysis of access frequency and service usage statistics
3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
Personal information will be destroyed without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been achieved.
4. Procedures and Methods for Destruction of Personal Information
The Company, in principle, destroys personal information without delay after the purpose of collection and use has been fulfilled.
Destruction procedure: Information entered for membership registration, etc., will be transferred to a separate database (or separate storage for paper documents) after the purpose has been achieved. It will then be stored for a certain period in accordance with internal policies and relevant laws, and subsequently destroyed. The information transferred to the separate database will not be used for any other purpose except as required by law.
Destruction method: Personal information stored in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that prevent recovery of the record.
5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company does not provide users’ personal information to external parties in principle. However, exceptions are made in the following cases:
When users have given prior consent
When provision is required by law or requested by investigative authorities in accordance with legal procedures
6. Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and How to Exercise Them
Users and legal guardians may at any time view, correct, or delete their registered personal information, or request membership withdrawal.
To view or correct information of the user (or children under 14), select “Change Personal Information” (or “Edit Member Information”).
To withdraw consent (membership withdrawal), click “Cancel Membership” and complete identity verification.
Alternatively, you may contact the Personal Information Manager in writing, by phone, or by email, and the Company will promptly take necessary actions.
If you request correction of errors in your personal information, the Company will not use or provide the relevant information until the correction is completed. If incorrect information has already been provided to a third party, the Company will promptly notify the third party of the correction.
Personal information that is canceled or deleted at the request of the user or legal guardian will be handled in accordance with the “Retention and Use Period” stated above and will not be accessed or used for any other purpose.
7. Installation, Operation, and Rejection of Automatic Collection Devices (Cookies)
The Company may use cookies, small text files stored on your computer’s hard drive via your web browser, to save and retrieve information.
Purpose of using cookies:
To analyze user access frequency or visit time, identify user preferences and interests, track usage, and provide targeted marketing and personalized services
Cookie rejection settings:
Users may choose to allow all cookies, confirm each time a cookie is saved, or reject all cookies through their web browser settings.
